As predicted, Escape Plan's worldwide box office continues to creep upward and just hit $130 million, and now the home video release comes! As with The Last Stand, you can purchase a digital copy starting today and download or stream it from services such as iTunes and Amazon Instant. The Blu-ray and DVD discs will hit stores on Feb. 4, but we have a few copies to give away!

Congratulations are in order to Arnold and Sly as Escape Plan has officially passed the 100 million mark. Over the weekend, the film was pumped to over 103 million at the box office and has already doubled the worldwide earnings for The Last Stand. Escape Plan, declared as a fan hit, has also passed the worldwide earnings of Collateral Damage and The 6th Day!

While the domestic take for Escape Plan might only reach 25 million, due to horrible promotion, the Sly/Schwarzenegger film is a much bigger success overseas! BoxOfficeMojo.com reports that the current worldwide take hit nearly 87 million (well over the film’s budget). China alone just added over 20 million for a very successful “Schwarzie” opening!
During the New York red carpet premiere of Escape Plan, I had the opportunity and honor of interviewing Faran Tahir, one of the lead characters, who has some very funny and impressive scenes along with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Tahir plays Javed, a Muslim inmate "disappeared" for life in the top secret Tomb prison.
