Exclusive TAFs Alana Interview!

TheArnoldFans own Rick Henriques, who has supplied us with many exclusive Conan cast interviews, is back! On Saturday, Oct 30th, Rick attended The Chiller Theater Expo in New Jersey and interviewed many celebrities including Conan’s Mako and T3’s Alana Curry!

Rick Henriques:
…..I’m pulling up to the Sheraton Hotel in East Rutherford and couldn’t believe the amount of people at The Chiller Theatre Expo. Massive amount of Sci-Fi and horror fans clogged the streets and parking structure to go to this now famous east Coast show filled with all these peoples favorite stars and tons of collectibles. I was defiantly a fan and as you will see in a later story, I of course made this pilgrimage to meet a star of Conan the Barbarian, Mako. There was another agenda for this day though: Get to and Talk to Alana Curry, co-star in Arnolds “T3”.

As I stood in line to get into the tent that Alana was signing in I was thinking about the questions to ask her, when she actually walked past me to go to her table. I anyone has seen her before I don’t even have to say what my first impression was. Ah, I’ll say it anyway, STUNNING! As I got into the tent and made my way around to see who was there, I found Alana in the far side sitting right across from Kane Hodder, who played Jason Vorhees of Friday the 13th fame.

On my approach, she saw my TheArnoldFans hat that I was wearing. She lit up and said she was expecting me. We set a time to talk and when I came back after a little while, we were all set to go:

Rick:
“Hey Alana, get to finally see….I mean meet you. Alana:
(chuckles)

Rick:
When was the last time you’ve seen any members of the cast from “T3”?

Alana:
It must have been about a year ago at a Sci- Fi convention in LA at the shrine. Arnold, Kristiana, Nick and Mostow were there and they were having a question and answer, but I can’t think of a time that I’ve seen them since then.

Rick:
Oh OK. What about any Nick Stahl sighting at Wal-Mart, I figuring that since his career has really “taken off” since T3 that he might be doing a private signing there.

Alana:
(laughs) No, I don’t go to Wal-Mart though.

Rick:
I just thought he might have. Lately we’ve been seeing in the news Kristiana Loken hanging around town with the singer, Pink. What do you think about that and are you attracted to Pink at all.

Alana:
I’m sure she’s a cool girl. I really don’t know her so I can’t really say but they’re probable just good friends, hangin’ out and having a good time. Goin’ clubbin’ and stuff.

Rick:
I’m personally hoping that they are more than that if ya know what I mean.

Alana:
(laughs) I’m sure you are. (laughs)

Rick:
Now I here that you are bit of a night owl.

Alana:
Yes.

Rick:
Does this mean you’re hanging out with like Tara Reid, Shannon Doherty and Paris Hilton?

Alana:
I do go to a lot of events around town, like red carpet events. I try not to stay out to late because I already have problems going to sleep unless it’s like 1:00 or 2:00am. I hang out with some of them.

Rick:
Ever get into any fist-fights with Shannon?

Alana:
No, no….I really like Shannon and like her works too. I like Charmed and 90210. I was on 90210 after she had left.

Rick:
What was your role on 90210?

Alana:
I played Joan, I was a teenage Beverly hills brat. It was in the 9th season (2nd to last). I was along Tori Spelling’s storyline when she was designing clothes in her boutique and I was a big fan of her work and brought my whole class down to her store. It was only a couple of episodes. It runs all the time on FX. If you go to my website there are a couple of stills from it on the stills page that you can see how I looked. I was so young. In the show I was just a snobby brat. There was this superstar that Tori designed a dress for this awards show and me an my “friend” were huge fans of this singers’. So we wanted to copy her look so we went to the boutique to find that dress. And then we brought all of friends from school with us, and put Tori’s business back on track when she thought it was not doing so well. It was also at the same time that Dylan was in the hospital for drugs and Gina & Kelly were fighting over who to take care of him.

Rick:
Ever get any advice from Paris on how to properly make a “video”?

Alana:
(laughs) Oh my God, no. I did see her the other night when I went to a party for Marciano, a division of Guess, she was there and looked great. But she’s never given me any pointers on the videos. (laughs)

Rick:
I wish she’d make some more, but on a serious note. What film projects are you working on now?

Alana:
I have two projects that are in development right now. One is a Sci-Fi, supernatural movie about ghosts and a haunted house, called “The Second Line”, that kinda gives you the feel of “The Sixth Sense”. It has a lot of twists and turns and is a really good script. Then there’s another one that is a Universal Picture called “Innocence” that’s a crime suspense thriller that takes place in the courtroom. Both of them will probably be next year because they’re still in pre-production and they’re still attaching people.

Rick:
Wow that’s a lot. Whet about photo stuff. By the looks of all the new pics on your table here you’ve been busy. These are HOT.

Alana:
Thanks, I just shot for “Benchwarmer” trading cards which will be out next moth in November and I also just shot a calendar for “Angels on the Fairway” which was in Cabo. (Points to a pic) You can see in this one I’m wearing wings.

Rick:
(looks) Oh yeah…Lots of clothes in these pics. Any chance you’re gonna have any nude scenes in your next movies?

Alana:
(cutely chuckles) Sorry, I have to leave something to the imagination.

Rick:
Darn! So there are a lot of celebrities here today. You have your eye on anybody, like maybe Kane Hodder over there. He seems like a nice mass murderer.

v Alana:
(laughs) Yeah, he sitting right over there, but he has a lady sitting with him if you haven’t noticed. It good though cuz I have a lot of friends here which is nice, Candace Kita, Chanel Ryan, Barbara Moore and Sandi Taylor. It’s cool because when you’re on a weekend like this you can go out and have fun at nights.

Rick:
Where do you go? I’m there.

Alana:
(laughs)

Rick:
Hey, do you have any tattoos?

Alana:
No, I’m such a baby about pain. I could never get a tattoo.

Rick:
Oh, so you got let the Terminatrix mutilate you, but no tattoo?

Alana:
They can put fake tattoos if they want to on me is needed.

Rick:
So Alana, as a last note. If you could just tell us exactly what it was like being in the Howard Stern tickle chair the other day.

Alana:
(perks up) Oh, well the tickle chair was quite the experience. First of all they sat me down in the chair that has straps for your wrist and ankles so you can’t more around while they’re tickling you and up until yesterday I still had marks on my wrists from the straps. They really do strap you in there. I couldn’t move at all so that was a weird feeling. They started tickling me all over my feet and my body. Howard was doing my body and Artie was doing my feet. They did it for a whole minute, but it was fun and I laughed so hard.

Rick:
God, to be Howard for that moment. Oh, sorry…I’m back to reality now. You were having trouble getting your plugs out while he was tickling you, he does that on purpose.

Alana:
Oh, of course he does, but I got to plug my website (AlanaCurry.com) a lot, so I did as much as I could while trying to bear the tickling.

Rick:
Awesome, well thanks again Alana. Excuse me while I just stare at you and your pictures for an hour.

Alana:
(laughs) No problem.

– R.H.

Curry had many sexy images on her booth as well as a still of her from T3 and a Rise of the Machines calendar for sale. Even though Alana was only in the Arnold film for a few seconds, TheArnoldFans will always be a big fan of Alana. Hmmm, TheAlanaFans.com has a nice ring to it.
