Last month, while I was on vacation, my good friend from Los Angeles, Duvien Ho, attended one of the latest Pump Club gatherings. Naturally, the members were treated to a very special day, with stories of inspiration while in the footsteps of a legend. I’ll let my buddy, Duvien, tell you all about it now!
It is that time again for the annual Arnold Sports Festival aka The Arnold Classic. The Arnold Classic in the United States is this week in Columbus, Ohio from 2/27/2025 – 3/2/2025. This is a multi-sport event that his held annually every year since 1989.
Arnold Schwarzenegger first started talking about The Pump in the movie Pumping Iron.
“The greatest feeling you can get in the gym or the most satisfying feeling you can get in the gym is The Pump. Let’s say you train your biceps. Blood is rushing into your muscles and that’s what we call The Pump. Your muscles get a really tight feeling like your skin is going to explode any minute and its really tight like somebody blowing air into it, into your muscle. It just blows up and it feels different. It feels fantastic.”
