Arnold and BMW Team Up For a Holiday Surprise!
The holiday season has now arrived and what better news to see Arnold is back in promoting some cool toys and video games. One of the biggest promotions began in the beginning of this year with the new BMW IX.
One of the greatest things about Super Bowl Sunday is families gathering together to watch the commercials where millions of dollars are spent on commercials that are quite humorous. In the past Arnold has been on Super Bowl commercials whether it be to promote Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines or a Bud Light Commercial where he played a ping pong champion.
On February 13th 2022 it was Super Bowl LVI Sunday where the Los Angeles Rams played against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Los Angeles Rams won 23 to 20. Besides watching a great game, we received an early teaser prior which had a picture of Arnold as Zeus on a poster coming soon February 2022. Social media went crazy and everybody that Arnold was coming out with a new film. How cool is it that Arnold played Hercules in Hercules in New York and now he was playing the character of Zeus.
The surprise was it was actually for a commercial, a BMW commercial to be exact. The BMW commercial starred Salma Hayek as Hera and Ralf Moeller as Sea God and brother of Zeus Poseidon. The commercial was to promote BMWs new all electric BMW IX. Arnold has always been about pushing green energy and had even one of his hummers converted to full electric so I would understand why they would have chosen Arnold. In the commercial, Zeus gets frustrated with people always asking to use his electric powers to help them out in situations where they need more juice. One of the cutest parts is when Hera asks Zeus to take Peggy for a walk. Peggy is a Pegasus which is a Horse God.
Fast forward to now in a recent new commercial, Arnold and Ralfie (Arnold calls him that) team up with BMW and are about to open a gift.
Arnold: We have to whisper, its one of the stupid rules of this show.
Ralf: A-S-M-R, lets unwrap it.
Arnold: No, Ralfi----shhht! Its not called unwrapping, it’s unboxing. We are unboxing right now. The official BMW Pegasus Toy.
(They begin to unbox the Pegasus)
Ralf: Ahhh Let me see it. Easy! Oh Yes
Arnold: Wow! (Arnold starts tapping on the side of the box to the Terminator theme)
Hold the box. Throw it away.
Oh look at that
Ralf: What a beauty!
Arnold: Take it out. Look at the wings! Oh! ‘Beeftivol’! Beautiful. Oh Yes!
Ralf: So Nice
Arnold: So Soft. He is soft. BMW. They’re not known for their toys, they’re known for their cars.
