Exclusive: The Excellent Barrage of Terminator Genisys Merchandise!
Randy JenningsWhile very little merchandise has yet to been seen from the new Arnold Schwarzenegger film, Terminator Genisys will not disappoint collectors. TheArnoldFans spoke with officials behind the film to get an exclusive tease of the many promising Terminator Genisys products coming out in the very near future!
There are a variety of products in development, some will come out in time for the release, and others will be a little later. In addition to the Chronicle Collectibles props, which include the endo-skull, 1:1 endo-skeleton, weapons and some great Schwarzenegger statues, Dragon Models and Hot Toys will be doing Terminator Genisys figures.
NECA tells TheArnoldFans that they will only have two 7" scale action figures in the first wave of Genisys figures but others are coming. Assortment includes Guardian T-800 and T-1000 figures. Arnold comes with a Remington shotgun accessory and the T-1000 figure features the likeness of Byung-hun Lee and comes with interchangeable battle-damaged parts, plus revolver and "arm spear" accessories.
It's also Cyber month at Loot Crate! This month, they're featuring exclusive items from Terminator Genisys, Borderlands and more, that you won't find anywhere else! We're told you won't want to miss this box!
Official posters will be for sale by Scorpio Posters and Pyramid Posters (U.K.) There will be t-shirts and other apparel items from a few companies around the world.

There is also a big variety of novelty items coming from Just Funky LLC including a 48" x 60" fleece showing Schwarzenegger, lanyards with metal silver charms, an endoskull drinking mug and more!
Later this year we'll even have Terminator Genisys Halloween costumes. More about this company soon! Megabrands is creating some great collector construction toys. MegaBloks will be producing several miniature playsets with Schwarzenegger figures and endoskeletons! 
We'll even have games! A Miniatures Game for the upcoming Schwarzenegger film is being produced by River Horse. The boxed set – War Against the Machines – is due for release this July with pre-orders available at http://riverhorse.eu/. War Against the Machines will be a 28mm skirmish game pitting the Human Resistance led by John Connor against the Machines of Skynet. River Horse are producing several versions of Arnold's character, with different weapons and in different poses for collectors, painters and gamers and these Arnold figures and others not found in the boxed set will be available separately in blister packs!
Insight Editions is publishing Resetting the Future, the making of hardcover book. In addition to Skydance helping us collectors roll out some fantastic merchandise, Paramount Pictures is also making some nice movie tie-in deals with some big partners including Big Red drinks and Red Robin, where fans can not only order some Terminator menu items, we can also get a $25 Genisys gift card which can be used for the restaurant and also gets us a free movie ticket to the film! 
Paramount Pictures are also gearing up for some fun in-theatre products being created in Japan, Europe and China so look forward to some great pop corn buckets, collector cups, along with some great theater promos including Fandango Terminator sunglasses and more!
TheArnoldFans have learned about some other fantastic pieces of merchandise but we've been asked to not mention them at this time but our excitement level is high in anticipation for many other great collectible opportunities! Make sure you take a look at the Facebook page for Terminator Genisys and Skydance since they are trying to post a few of the products there as they become available. Thanks to Genisys, it will be time to reset and rearrange our Schwarzenegger collection rooms to allow for tons of great new Terminator products!
