Arnold Honored in Almeria + Producers Scouting for King Conan!

Here's some promising King Conan news! While we heard this news a couple of weeks ago, the powers that be (who live high on their mountain with Crom), told us to hold off on reporting this news until it was official. Well, it's official; when he's done at this year's Arnold Classic Europe, Schwarzenegger WILL be heading to his old Conan stomping grounds where he filmed in Almería (Mountain of Power, Battle of the Mounds and other Conan sites).

Arnold will be arriving in Almeria on Sunday the 28th to be honored at Cinema Land on September 28 at the Almería Shorts festival. The street here has celebrity stars (similar to the Hollywood Walk of Fame) and Schwarzenegger will be the next to receive a star. Currently, the street has five: Eduardo Fajardo, Omar Sharif, Ridley Scott, Denis O'Dell and Arnold's Conan the Barbarian co-star Max Von Sydow. 

Schwarzenegger returns in Almería 33 years after filming Conan. The Legend of Conan (King Conan) aims for a 2015 production start and Fredrik Malmberg, producer of the film is said to be scouting potential locations in the area while he's here accompanying the Conan star.
