To celebrate the special day, I was finally able to watch Arnold’s latest film, The Mystery of the Iron Mask, now on blu-ray in the UK by Signature Entertainment. The film co-stars Jackie Chan and Jason Flemyng with a cameo by Charles Dance but naturally, Schwarzenegger outshines them all! I imagined Arnold would only been in the film for a few minutes but I was shocked by not only his substantially bigger role, but by his physical performance! In fact, this has my favorite Schwarzenegger hand-to-hand fight (as a human character) in decades with wild punches, a sword fight, a high kick, pit-fighting and more! The film was shot in China so the Chinese actors are dubbed here on the blu-ray - making it a bit distracting but this film is a lot of fun! I watched it two days in a row and I absolutely love the fight choreography and film’s cinematography! I’m very pleased with Arnold’s role, performance and decision to be in this film. You will love both Arnold fight scenes in this movie!
