While celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio, we had the opportunity to speak with Ah-nold himself! During an exclusive interview with Schwarzenegger, he spoke with great passion about his bodybuilding and fitness expo, which has actually gone global and is now celebrated on every continent. But it all started here, in Ohio, three decades ago. In our last article, we shared our interview with Arnold about the grand bodybuilding event and got into a bit of politics, but now, let’s get into more of what Arnold told TheArnoldFans about his upcoming film projects.

Terminator 6 was originally going to start film production in late March but Arnold tells us it’s pushed back a few months.

"We are starting to shoot Terminator 6 in June to the middle of October, so I am in that,” Schwarzenegger tells TheArnoldFans. "I am looking forward to coming back as the T-800 model. It's gonna be great with Tim Miller as the director and Jim Cameron is kind of supervising the whole thing.”

The great news about Terminator 6 pushed back is that this means a 3rd or 4th quarter theatrical release in 2019, which NOW practically guarantees that T6 WILL come to San Diego Comic Con next year.  The original earlier scheduled July release would have come before the Con but now, if T6 is released in August or December of next year, we’ll have better hype and promotion from Comic Con. More good news about the film release being bushed back a few months is that it will no longer contend with that Fast & Furious spin off film, earlier scheduled to have the same July release date.

Our favorite action hero will be very busy at the end of this year. Immediately after he finished Terminator 6, he’ll go right to the filming of “Kung Fury: The Movie” where it is said he’ll help battle Nazis as Arnold will play the President of the United States! Then as soon as he’s done with Kung Fury, we expect Schwarzenegger to dive into Expendables 4.

TheArnoldFans just got confirmation with The Expendables co-star, Randy Couture, that Expendables 4 starts filming this August.

“I’m excited about Expendables 4," Couture behind. "Right now, we’re scheduled to start filming in August and hopefully we’re able to stay on schedule. It sounds like we’re coming back to Bulgaria, which is exciting. I’ve spend a lot of time in Sofia and Varna and I’m excited to come back. I love the people (there), I love the food and I’m excited to come back."

Randy also confirms that The Expendables 4 is on the fast track. Casting is currently underway and we’re all hoping for a rated R Expendables with Schwarzenegger back as Trench!  Expendables 3 co-star, Rhoda Rousey, also stopped by and said hello to TheArnoldFans during this weekend’s International Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

And after Expendables 4?

"Then we are finishing off the script now on Triplets, which is sequel to Twins,” Schwarzenegger tells TheArnoldFans. "Then they are also writing King Conan. Then we just made a deal to do a series of westerns on television, so we are looking forward to that."

Since “The Legend of Conan” script was cancelled with Universal Pictures, we believe Arnold is referring to how Fredrik Malmberg, Conan's producer. told TheArnoldFans that he would like Schwarzenegger to star in the new "Conan the Barbarian” series on Amazon.  Malmberg has shared with TheArnoldFans that he’d personally love for Arnold to have an intro to the episodes showing King Conan narrating the stories of Conan's youth as well as showing a few episodes that could possibly focus entirely on King Conan’s years. Arnold also just announced he joined the Amazon family to do the Western series, Outrider.
