In Terminator 2, the T-800’s mission was to protect John Connor and to Terminate the T-1000. That was a great mission and great story in 1991 but the T-800 has a new mission in 2017: to Terminate Hate. Arnold Schwarzenegger recently responded to the events that happened in Charlottesville, Virginia.
“There are not two sides to bigotry. There are no two sides to hate. And if you choose to march with a flag that symbolizes the slaughter of millions of people, there are not two sides. The only way to beat the loud, angry voices of hate is to meet them with louder, more reasonable voices. That includes you President Trump. In fact, as president of this great country, you have a moral responsibility to send an unequivocal message that you wont stand for hate and racism."
